About the Journal

Journal of Modern Science and Innovation (JMSI) is an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal officially supported by Tashkent State Transport University. The journal is published three times a year (April, August, and December). Our mission is to provide a high-quality academic platform for researchers to share innovative findings in engineering, natural sciences, and social dynamics.

Peer Review and Plagiarism Policy

To ensure the highest academic integrity, JMSI follows a rigorous Double-blind Peer Review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent subject experts. The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using specialized anti-plagiarism software (e.g., Turnitin or Ithenticate) before entering the review stage.

Open Access and Publication Fees

JMSI is a fully Open Access journal. In line with our mission to support the global scientific community, the journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or submission fees for the inaugural issues. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.

PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT 

1. Editorial Duties and Responsibilities The editors of JMSI are responsible for maintaining the quality of the journal by evaluating manuscripts based solely on their intellectual and scientific merit. The editorial board must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process. Editors shall not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and the publisher.

2. Peer Review Process JMSI employs a Double-blind Peer Review system. All research articles undergo a rigorous review by at least two independent subject experts. Reviewers are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest before starting the evaluation. The final decision for publication lies with the Editor-in-Chief.

3. Authorship and Author Responsibilities

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must guarantee that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. JMSI uses specialized software to screen for plagiarism.

  • Data Access: Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review.

  • Disclosure of Conflicts: All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence their work.

  • Reporting Errors: When an author discovers a significant error in their published work, it is their obligation to promptly notify the journal editor to retract or correct the paper.

4. Ethical Oversight and Human/Animal Rights If the work involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript. Research involving human subjects or animals must comply with international ethical standards (e.g., Declaration of Helsinki).

5. Post-publication Corrections JMSI is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record. In cases of proven scientific misconduct, plagiarism, or fraudulent use of data, the publisher will issue a formal retraction or correction in accordance with COPE guidelines.

6. Open Access and Copyright Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right of first publication.
